Azerbaijan has potential to export non-alcohol drinks to Pakistan, the envoy

Islamabad: Over the past years, both sides Pakistan and
Azerbaijan agreed to improve the economic ties to the next level of the current
trade volume. So Azerbaijan has massive potential and will to introduce
non-alcoholic drinks to Pakistan, said the envoy. Azerbaijan is keen to exports
of new non-alcoholic products to Pakistan. At present, Azerbaijan export
beverages to 27 countries and 18 types of alcoholic beverages and various
juices to Russia and Ukraine.
Speaking at an informal meeting with American-Pakistan
businessman Mr. Momin Khan Durrani, the ambassador Alizada said that Azeri
producers are keen on introducing new drinks to Pakistan as well as expanding
the export of current products to foreign markets. He observed that
non-alcoholic wine reduces the risk of cancer and burns extra calories.
The ambassador said that though Azerbaijan is one of the
largest producers of oil, gas resources and energy related products but there
has been huge potential for Pakistani businessmen of joint ventures in various
sectors including sports, agriculture, leather, pharmaceutical, energy and technology
etc. He said that electronic products quality is high, so that can compete with
Chinese one.
Azerbaijan has been producing quality electronic products and
will compete with China very soon. Both sides can potentially increase the
volume of bilateral trade by sharing business expertise and connecting markets,
he added.
This indicates the quality of our products and their high
standards. Azerbaijan has rich winemaking traditions. Over the last years, this
area has been under great care of the state. Our export potential is currently
expanding, the ambassador explained. It is made as a result of the use of alcohol
in the vacuum apparatus, he added.
