Pakistani leadership using Islamophobia to cover own misdoings

Shamim Mahmood Prime Minister Imran Khan is all set to embark on his visit to Russia. According to reports, the premier will have one-on-one meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin in which among other issues, he is also likely to raise the matter of Islamophobia.  There are an estimated 23 million Muslims in Russia which means that one out of five Russians is a Muslim.  The incumbent Pakistani leadership has been very vocal against Islamophobia in the West. Before we move further, let us examine some key facts. According to Wikipedia, Pew Research Study and other statistics agencies, Muslims are the fastest-growing religion group in the world. Independence Day celebration of Azerbaijan was held in Islamabad

Islamabad:  The embassy of Azerbaijan arranged a reception on its 30th Independence Day in Islamabad on Monday in the local hotel. Speaker National Assembly Asad Qaisar as chief guest said in his speech that both countries enjoy close cordial relations. He said Pakistan whole-heatedly supported Azerbaijan in its war against Armenia.  The ambassador Khazar Farhadov said that Azerbaijan and Pakistan are friends and great brotherly Muslim country and this relationship strengthened under the leadership of President Ilham Aliyev – President of Azerbaijan.  In the recent years, ties between two countries have been strengthened in all spheres of life.  A special cake was also cut to mark the occasion.  Earlier, the ambassador Farhadov and his team welcomed the guests to the occasion. Reasonable number of locals, foreigner diplomats, military attaché’, media persons and other dignities have attended the event. During the event COVID-19 SoPs were followed.

Patriotic War of Azerbaijan was exhibited in the capital Islamabad
