Independence Day celebration of Azerbaijan was held in Islamabad

Islamabad:  The embassy of Azerbaijan arranged a reception on its 30th Independence Day in Islamabad on Monday in the local hotel. Speaker National Assembly Asad Qaisar as chief guest said in his speech that both countries enjoy close cordial relations. He said Pakistan whole-heatedly supported Azerbaijan in its war against Armenia.  The ambassador Khazar Farhadov said that Azerbaijan and Pakistan are friends and great brotherly Muslim country and this relationship strengthened under the leadership of President Ilham Aliyev – President of Azerbaijan.  In the recent years, ties between two countries have been strengthened in all spheres of life.  A special cake was also cut to mark the occasion.  Earlier, the ambassador Farhadov and his team welcomed the guests to the occasion. Reasonable number of locals, foreigner diplomats, military attachĂ©’, media persons and other dignities have attended the event. During the event COVID-19 SoPs were followed.

Patriotic War of Azerbaijan was exhibited in the capital Islamabad

Baku declared Indian statement irresponsible on Azerbaijan–Armenia border situation

  Leyla Abdullayeva Islamabad: India issued irresponsible statement without thorough examination of the various dimension of the border situation between Azerbaijan and Armenia, said Ms. Leyla Abdullayeva – Head of the Press Service of Azerbaijan. The Ambassador of Azerbaijan HE Ali Alizade shared the official statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan, saying that India has not made any appeal during the last 30 years on illegal occupation. It is quite strange that Indian Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) talking about pulling back forces.     Earlier Ms. Leyla Abdullayeva responding to the media query said that the key reason of the border issues between Armenia and Azerbaijan is Armenia’s illegal occupation of Azerbaijan’s territories till November 2020. Islamabad: The diplomats of the Azerbaijan remembered Heydar Aliyev – the national leader’s 98 th birthday. The ambassador put flowers in the national leader’s bust at the embassy. Posting on the social the ambassador Ali Alizade said that the diplomats and the staff in Islamabad embassy remembered the national leader Heydar Aliyev’s 98 th birthday. Ali Alizade said on this occasion to honor his memory we put flowers in front of the National Leaders’ bust at the embassy and took care of tree planted in Shakarparian park, Islamabad. It is to mentioned that Heydar Aliyev was born on 10 th of May, 1923 and was the third president of Azerbaijan and had great influence on the nation. He was the father of the current president Illham Aliyev.

Moscow hosts Azerbaijan and Armenia peace talks

Baku: Azerbaijan and Armenia signed a complete ceasefire and cessation agreement in Moscow. The president of Azerbaijan I.H. Aliyev, the Prime Minister of Armenia N.V. Pashinyan and the president of the Russian Federation V.V. Putin singed the agreement with mutual consent. According to the statement issued by the Azerbaijan embassy Islamabad, the three leaders declared the following: A complete ceasefire and cessation of all hostilities is announced in the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict zone effective 00:00 Moscow time on 10 November 2020. The Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Armenia, hereinafter referred to as the Parties, stop at their current positions. The Aghdam district is returned to the Republic of Azerbaijan before 20 November 2020.
