Polish boxer won ABF Asian title fight in Islamabad

Islamabad: Poland plans to bring Polish coaches to Pakistan,
says Piotr Opalinski, ambassador of Poland to Pakistan.
Expressing his enthusiasm, H E Piotr Opalinski said, ‘it is indeed the great news that the Polish boxer Artur Gorski won the Asian Boxing Federation (ABF) Asian Title fight in the capital at the first-ever Amir Khan Boxing show. While talking to ‘The Mirror’ (blogger), the ambassador said this international event is part of Amir Khan’s initiative to organize international standard boxing events in Pakistan. There is a lot of talent in the country and Poland plan to bring international Polish coaches to Pakistan to train and to polish skills of the young aspiring boxers here, he added.
The ambassador posted his pictures with the winning Polish boxer Artur Gorski and the organizer boxer Amir Khan on his social media account, wrapping Polish flag around his neck.

Mr Amir Iqbal Khan is Pakistani British
professional boxer, promoter and philanthropist. He is a former unified
light-welterweight world champion, having held the WBA title from 2009 to 2012
and the IBF lightweight title from 2007 to 2008.
Earlier in Islamabad talking to the media he said, it is the
first big boxing event in Pakistan and will create interest among youth. International
boxers and coaches including Poland, Indonesia, Afghanistan and other countries
are taking part in this event.
