Azerbaijan liberated 25 villages and a city from the Armenia

Islamabad: Ambassador Ali Alizade highlighted the Armenian military aggression and attacks against the Azerbaijan.
In a press conference held in the local hotel in Islamabad, the ambassador said that the Counter-offensive operations of Azerbaijan against Armenian attacks are carried out within internationally recognized territories of Azerbaijan and in compliance with the 51st article of the UN Charter (right of self-defence). The responsibility for the escalation of the situation on the front line lies directly with the Armenian military-political leadership. He said that the President of Azerbaijan, Mr. Ilham Aliyev, has mentioned that Azerbaijan has no military targets in Armenia; the war begun with current provocations of the occupying country is being waged in the historical territories of Azerbaijan. The counter-offensive operation is aimed at liberating our lands and forcing Armenia to make peace.
Ali Alizade stated that the Armenian forces violated the norms and Int’l laws, particularly international humanitarian law to provoke panic among Azerbaijani nation but the nation strongly stood against the Armenian aggression. He urged the international community to take principal stand and condemn the Armenian aggressive actions. There will be no peace in the South Caucasus until Armenia liberates the occupied lands.
Earlier, the deputy head of mission, Mr. Samir Guliyev mentioned in his introductory remarks that on September 27, 2020, the Armenian forces blatantly violated the ceasefire and had launched another aggression against Azerbaijan. Armenian forces deliberately targeted the civilian population in different towns of including Mingachevier, Ganja (second largest city of Azerbaijan) and so far killed 31 civilian and wounded around 150. Due to the heavy shelling 576 houses and 72 civilian facilities were destroyed.
The military attaché Col Mehman Novruzov told the media the Azerbaijan Army troops have liberated 25 villages and one city. Armenian army losses 250 tanks and ACVs, 270 artillery & MLRS, 60 defence systems, 8 ammunition depot, 150 military vehicles and one S-300 air defence system.
